Hugh Waters says:I've now been using Quickersite for a few years since I wrote my previous review above.
In that time I have continued to be impressed by the breadth of the software and the immense support from Pieter. This is a remarkable product that takes on and beats other CMSs including Wordpress as a content management system.
Clients love it and so do I.
I continue to recommend Quickersite highly.
Bob Milutinovic says:After spending countless hours (and countless dollars) trying to get a functional web site up using over a dozen of the supposedly "best of breed" CMS packages out there and finding they were invariably (a) buggy, (b) unsupported, (c) inflexible in their layout, or (d) all of the above - I'm glad I finally found one which actually does what it's supposed to.
Slap together a site your way - design your own page then simply slot QuickerSite's functional blocks in - and you're done! Yes, it really is as easy as that. If you use Artisteer, fret not - QuickerSite directly supports Artisteer templates. And if you don't have any web design experience whatsoever, simply let QuickerSite build the site for you - from hundreds of included site templates.
And all this for a tiny fraction of what lesser CMS packages out there are asking - would you rather pay $995 for a broken CMS, or 39 Euros for a properly functioning one?
Don't just take my word for it though - try out the 15-day trial on their servers; you'll be amazed at how quickly you'll get a site together, and you'll wonder how you ever put up with the drudgery of site development without it.
Oh, and just for the record - I'm not affiliated with them in any way - I'm just an elated user who's now purchased several licences on behalf of customers.
Jan says:QuickerSite is very useful for the community websites which I have developed. For example, <ul><li>the form-builder is very flexible and can be used for short surveys, <li>the poll-functionality helps for easy interaction, <li>specific users can be assigned editing rights to pages or lists, <li>guestbooks allow for easy interaction with moderation possibilities enabled, and <li>the intranet provides an area of the website for special groups that have enrolled. </ul>It is easy to learn, and the support from Pieter and the forum is really helpful. This system is really good!
Doc says:I use quickersite from one years and some months. It's really useful, simple, fast, expandable like a swiss knife! It's the right solution to build a website in few simple step in just half n' hour. It use db access default but can use Sql server without problem. Interface are clear, smart. Page or section can be create in a click. Very useful support of SEO feature for search engine. Good support service with several improvement month by month.
Anonymous says:This is by far is the best CMS software that I have seen. I like the way the system allows you to configure the default template, but also you can bypass that and program your own templates. Quickersite does not come with any templates, so adding a few would be greatly appreciated. If multiple user support is added to the program, it will be the ideal CMS. The license you purchase allows you to rebrand it for your customers I think is the biggest reason why I chose Quickersite. Although a user manual is almost not needed for Quickersite, there are some issues for advanced the features that more explanation is needed, like a templates tutorial, further customization of the product etc...
Hugh Waters says:I have tried out a wide range of asp based CMS, both paid for and free systems. After a lot of false starts I have finally settled on Quickersite. Primarily for its ease of use (ease of use for my clients), simplicity of setup and the tremendous support from Quickersite. Sensibly priced and frequently updated. Recommend highly to any web developer.
Mik Achton-Boel says:I have worked with many different CMS systems for last many years but QuickerSite is one of the best I ever have seen and worked with. It's very usefull and easy to start working with. Even my children can work with it. The support is one of the best of this kind of programs. I believe that QuickerSite will have a great future. A happy danish QuickerSite user.
Bob Beresford says:I've tried dozens of CMS, and researched hundreds. Quickersite gives you all the usability you want, without the bloat of unwanted features. It's fast and clean with great support. All the features are well thought out, and well implemented. You can develop a small site of a few pages or a major site with equal ease. Clients love it because they now have control over their content without having to make it into a full time job. It's intuitive and so easy to use for them. Why guilty feelings? Because I had a client say I was a great developer - but she really meant QS. I didn't tell her though :¬) I'd like to see more of a developers community, sharing ideas, plans and templates. I'd like to see some more optional plugins in the future. Finally, I'd like to see the whole world using Quickersite because theat's what it deserves!
Gary Stratton says:With just a little ASP knowlege plus a bit of Access Database experience you can make Quickersite CMS do just about anything you want a CMS to do. The author of the software (Pieter) is extremly helpfull, fixing any small bugs, taking ideas foward to the next version and if you want to have Quickersite do special things for you he will show you where you need to do your changes. I am excited and looking foward to the next version which has some great new features. Oh yes Peiter keeps us uptodate on whats in the next version.
Andrew Vadivelu says:I am in development for more than 10 years now, worked with many cms in linux and windows platform, and now I feel, why the other cms made the life more complicated, when the CMS can be made as easy as the Quicker WebCMS. Specialy the Custome Application which you can include in anypage is great feature. Custom templates are also good, we can create our own complex ASP components which can be included in the Quicker pages, without having the variable conflict with each other. Overall QuickerCMS (Peter) made the life easier and better. Now I can create a site in 1 hour and go online.... I would like to see in future, more add-on modules, like list management, e-commerce... just to name few.
Anonymous says:This is a great application and the gem is in it's simplicity especially for clients! It's a double edged sword because the challenge is how to keep improving the program but still keep it simple. Pieter's doing a great job of that. I really love this program and think it's got a great future ahead. Good luck with it Peter. Excellent service and support.
Anonymous says:I've been building websites for 13 years now and I usually build them from scratch...but NEVER again. From now on I use QuickerSite. I'm more then a bit of a technogeek and, despite the fact that QuickerSite is poorly documented, I had my first QuickerSite up and running in 4-days. My second QuickerSite took 4 hours. My 3rd took 2 hours and I can see my next QuickerSite taking 1 hour. Seriously. This software product is quite simply OUTSTANDING. It is well written, pretty much defect free, and it is extremely clever with a host of features and tweaks that will allow you to build just about whatever you need and, with the integration of Artiseer support, it can look great. SEO has been taken into account and you can even give your clients access permission to pages so that they can edit page content from any web browser. The developer is friendly, skillful, and is eager to please. On the downside, learning how QuickerSite works is tough because it is so sparsely documented...but hang in there...because once you get it YOU WON'T BELIEVE how simple it is to configure and operate. In addition, quicker site allows you to host many websites from a single database and a single code-base. All-in-all this is a terrific product and you'll be thankful that you found it. I certainly am.
David Bryant says:I have been using Quickersite for a long time. I used it as a free version and now I am helped a friend in Tennessee (USA) build a great site. I know ASP very well so I can make the site do anything. it is easy to install and easy to all templates, even more easier if you know css. No IT-background or knowledgde of HTML is required! Some basic knowledge of web-related terminology can very useful. if you do not know asp to add features then find a friend at does and you will be able to have things like polls and web calendars.
Karl Schenk says:I started looking for a CMS a couple of years ago. I tried some and they were OK, but very limited. Then I tried QS. It was easy to put up a nice design using some basic graphics software. It was easy to add a bunch of pages. Bingo. Over the years Pieter has made many things easier and added much more flexibility. He just put out a v25 preview that includes support for PDAs, Blackeberries, etc. I've seen many people ask for a calendar. I like to use the List Page feature for this. Because it generates and RSS feed, you can easily put a summary of up coming events on the Home page (or any page). Comes with: built-in Intranet, Blog/Themes/BB, Opt-in Newsletter mailing, Custom generated forms, nice photo gallery & slide show, a catalog that is easy to integrate with PayPal buttons. Works with multiple DBs. You won't get better support as Pieter is very helpful and the user community is very active with sharing advice. Have about 20 websites running with QS and they never have problems.
Panos Stefanou says:I started using Quickersite CMS in 2007. From that point it has grown to the best CMS i have ever used. Now that supports templates created easily from Artisteer.com, Quickersite is even better. It is easy to learn and use, FAST, and now good looking also. Support is very good and the price right. We are using it for 20+ customers and has never failed us.
Abdul Careem says:I am not familiar with Windows hosting nor with ASP. But one of my customer wanted it to be hosted in their own windows server and preferred ASP. I searched the internet and found this and it was all i were looking. But i had the doubts how am i going to set it up. I decided to pay the small installation fee and get it done. this is where everything happened. I got an exceptionally great support and now i am confident that my customer will like the site and with the re branding facility it now looks as my own work to my customer
Nick says:After playing around with countless other CMS, I have found QuickerSite to be the most complete and easiest to use. Customer service is excellent too. It's new AutoQsite version, is a must for any professional web designer. The AutoQsite will allow your visitors to create their web sites within seconds. Implementing multiple blogs, forums, polls, guestbooks, forms, RSS feeds, 2 types of galleries, and other countless features only takes a couple of minutes to set up. The Intranet feature with has a PIM and a mass mailing feature is very nice and cleverly done. These are features that you would see in very expensive CMS. You can have 2 system admins. plus give any editing permissions to any page to any of your Intranet contacts. QuickerSite now accepts Artisteer templates, which makes the job or creating nice looking web site a cakewalk. It seems to me that QuickerSite was built for easy use, has more features than any other CMS, and with security in mind. Excellent for non-professionals, and perfect for professionals. Easy for novices, but powerful enough for those who want to create complicated web sites. The commercial editor (Innova Studio), is a big plus too. One can create a professional web site in a fraction of a time it would take with other CMS. Give it a try with the FREE LE version (limited features), or try it out by the 15 day trial web site that their AutoQsite generates for you. It's needless to say, QuickerSite and AutoQsite, are the most important pieces of software I use to do business. without them, I would be my business would be in hell!
Anonymous says:This is the best site I have ever had. It's not expenssive, It has many features and the best costumer support. I install it in no time and got help from the forum and Pieter to modify the site as I needed. This site have polls, guestbooks, forms, RSS feeds, store (you can add paypal button) galleries, many language support and many more...
Anonymous says:QuickerSite literally has everything you could want in terms of a CMS and its affordable. Very easy to use and easy to implement gallery’s, polls, simple listing pages. Even has built in SEO. Great CMS and would recommend to anyone. Support wise it fantastic as well, loads on online video tutorials and if that doesn’t answer your question you can drop them an email and they reply within 24 hours. Highly recommend.
Jan G Hesthammer says:After trying out many other CMS I've come to the conclusion that QuickerSite is the best. I've tried it for approx. 1 year and are very happy. It's fun to work with and I recommend QuickerSite CMS strongly. Quickersite also has excellent support.
