Why choose between business and fun? You can have both with QuickerSite! QuickerSite is a Content Management System for Windows Servers. It is written in ASP/VBScript with an optional pinch of ASP.NET for true image-resizing capabilities.
QuickerSite ships with an Access database, with the option to upsize to SQL Server 2000/2005 or MySQL for busy sites (>1000 visitors/day).

We are very excited to announce www.quickertemplates.com, the first archive of templates for QuickerSite. The purpose of this site is to distribute professional looking templates for QuickerSite (v24) users. Nick - the owner of the site - is closely linked to QuickerSite. I'm sure new templates will be uploaded here on a regular base.

Feeds:
- A feed can be configured to display the items from the feed randomly. Very useful if you want a more dynamic news section with fresh news items on every page load.
Catalogues:
- Catalogues can have 3 "RSS Views". That is how catalogue items can be shown in 3 different ways using the feed-reader in QuickerSite.
Galleries:
- Galleries can be configured to show images at random
- Clicking an image can now trigger a custom javascript or url
- Combining both features, you can make a Gallery behave as an image rotating system, where you show only 1 image, which is different on every pageload.
Themes (Forums and Blogs):
- Topics can be "compacted", instead of expanded by default.
- Themes can be configured to require validation before topics and replies are published.
- Minor bugfixes and cosmetic changes
Permission Management:
- Users are able to modify list items of list pages.
ASP/VBScripts:
- Custom ASP/VBScripts in QuickerSite can now be extended with other classes and functions. That is how it will be possible to develop complete custom applications, without having to move around separate asp-files. Just text to be copy/pasted in custom ASP/VBScript. Very useful and powerful.
Admin-Module:
- The possibility to reset backsite passwords for your customers
The possibility to copy a full website (very useful in case you have a couple of demosites that you want to be able to quickly duplicate for multiple customers)
Menus:
- Two fixed variables for templates were added that output the QuickerSite menu in the "Artisteer" format. Artisteer (www.artisteer.com) is a very useful css template generator. WIth these new variables, you will be able to include the QS menu in any template created with Artisteer.
Some other minor upgrades:
- QuickerSite got rid of the JavaScript alert boxes. A less obtrusive popup window is now used when saving pages and all kind of items. The save-OK alerts now disappear after 2 seconds.
- You can preview a template (from the list of templates in the backsite) before you apply it as the default template.
