Why choose between business and fun? You can have both with QuickerSite! QuickerSite is a Content Management System for Windows Servers. It is written in ASP/VBScript with an optional pinch of ASP.NET for true image-resizing capabilities.
QuickerSite ships with an Access database, with the option to upsize to SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 for busy sites (>1000 visitors/day).
QuickerSite is the first commercial CMS that has adopted Artisteer Template Generator as its preferred template builder. QuickerSite is not limited to using Artisteer Templates, but many of our customers have found Artisteer extremely useful in their everyday business. For a limited time only, we now offer a FREE copy of Artisteer Home and Academic Edition ($49,95 value!) with every copy of QuickerSite webCMS.
Please get in touch if you have further questions. We're looking forward to it.

Classic ASP still more popular than ASP.NET?
I have a reason to believe that classic ASP applications are still more popular than their big brothers in .NET. According to Google, there are 9.000.0000.000 classic ASP pages, and “only” 8.000.000.000 .NET pages. I was told to use the “allinurl” function in Google. When searching for allinurl:”.php” however, you’ll see that PHP is more popular than Classic ASP and .NET together. For what it’s worth.
AutoQSite is doing great
We recently developed AutoQSite, the one-click installation robot for QuickerSite. We have successfully setup www.iseral.be and www.freehostedcms.com, and we have setup some others for customers. This works great. Creating a full-blown QuickerSite with some default pages and content takes…. 5 seconds. One UK based customer created over 400 QuickerSites in only one month. Via the various AutoQSites we have installed, we have already seen over 1000 new QuickerSites in 2010. That is amazing. Do not hesitate to get in touch in case you want to demo AutoQSite on your own server.
300+ templates for your website
We have recently launched http://freetemplates.quickersite.com. This site offers 300+ templates available for download. All templates can be used with QuickerSite. The only thing you need to do is download the ZIPs and upload them in your backsite. If you need help with this, please get in touch, or use the QuickerSite Customer Support Forums. Of course we heavily relied on Artisteer Web Template Generator when setting up this archive. Talking about Artisteer, their v24 release (currently in beta) will support vertical menus. This is something we have been waiting for for almost a year. There is an issue to be solved in this beta release, but as soon as it is fixed, we will add support for vertical menus in QuickerSite. It will be a patch for v26, and therefore this release will be QS v261. Upgrading will be very easy, since only the /asp folder will be affected.
Be careful with licenses
Although we ALWAYS trust our customers, and we try to listen very carefully to their needs, we notice some customers use a single site license for multiple websites. That is not allowed. In most cases, we spot these unlicensed sites, even before they are officially launched. But in ANY case, we spot them after they have been picked up by Google. Therefore we suggest you do not create unlicensed QuickerSites. Sooner or later, we will have to contact you about it. It’s always annoying, for all of us.
The wishlist > Call for plugins
Some of you might have noticed we have silently closed the wishlist on www.quickersite.com. We believe that the current v26 release is a very complete CMS. Adding more modules would surcharge the QS codebase. However, we know some of our customers are always looking into new features. We therefore launch this call for plug-ins. Do you have a classic ASP application that you want to share or sell, so it can be converted to QS plug-in? Do not hesitate to contact us. It would sure need some rework, but after it is converted to a QS plugin, it would then be available to many of our customers. In particular, we are looking for an e-commerce plug-in and a calendar-plug-in. You have one available? You want to sell it/give it away? Do you want to contribute? Get in touch, so we can work something out!
